About

Experience and Judgment
Stephen Lesser works at the intersection of investment execution, operational performance, and risk management across healthcare and life sciences businesses. Stephen focuses on translating investment theses into tangible outcomes—particularly in complex, regulated environments where execution gaps, organizational misalignment, and unmanaged risk often derail scalability and value creation.
With two decades of experience, Stephen has led investments, advised early- to commercial-stage companies, and worked closely with executive teams and boards to drive performance, scale, and long-term impact. Stephen brings a hands-on, collaborative approach, helping leadership teams navigate complexity and risk, make disciplined decisions, and translate strategy into measurable outcomes. Stephen is most effective in environments that value collaboration, accountability, and purposeful growth.
Stephen has served as a speaker at the Kisaco Animal Health, Nutrition & Technology Innovation conferences in Boston and London, the Longwood Healthcare Leaders conference, and various events at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Stephen graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, prior to earning his JD at the Washington and Lee University School of Law and his MBA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
